Southern Africa carrier, Airlink has modified its “Johannesburg- Nairobi schedule to provide optimal customer convenience from late March 2026.”
Airlink says it will: “introduce a daily early morning south-bound service from Nairobi to Johannesburg, ensuring travellers arrive at the start of the working day and also in time for the morning wave of onward connections from Johannesburg’s O.R. Tambo International Airport.”
Airlink said: “the daily north-bound flight will depart just after lunchtime, accommodating customers arriving at Airlink’s Johannesburg hub during the mid-morning and connecting onwards to Nairobi.”
Airlink’s CEO, de Villiers Engelbrecht said: “With our expanded fleet we’re able to adjust our Nairobi schedule to better serve the needs of business and leisure customers who prioritise convenience and a great choice of connections at both ends of the route. Nairobi is a key gateway to Kenya and the all-important East African market. Similarly, through Airlink’s Johannesburg hub, customers can connect with our other domestic and regional services as well as long-haul flights provided by our global airline partners.”
According to Airlink, from 28th March 2026, Airlink’s Johannesburg to Nairobi flights will operate daily with departures at 13:30 and from 29th March 2026, Airlink’s expanded Nairobi to Johannesburg services will operate daily with departures at 06:30.
