Royal Jordanian Airlines will launch direct and regular flights between Amman and Casablanca, Morocco, from October 16, 2025. The airline says it will operate two weekly frequencies “as part of the airline’s strategic plan to expand its global route network and boost inbound tourism to Jordan.”

Royal Jordanian’s Vice Chairman/CEO Samer Majali, stated that the launch of flights to Casablanca marks an important step towards strengthening air connectivity between Jordan and Morocco, reflecting the two countries’ commitment to enhancing cooperation and facilitating travel for citizens, students, and business travelers. The new route will also contribute to strengthening economic, trade, and tourism ties between Jordan and Morocco across various sectors.

Majali added that Royal Jordanian will operate the Amman–Casablanca route using its modern Airbus A320neo aircraft. The reinstatement of the Casablanca route represents a strategic step toward enhancing Jordan’s connectivity with key markets across North Africa.

“Morocco is a country rich in culture, history, and economic opportunities. This new route will offer passengers more convenient and comfortable travel options for both leisure and business purposes. Attracting tourism to Jordan and expanding regional connectivity remain key pillars of our strategy to position Amman as a leading gateway to the Levant and to strengthen tourism and business ties with North Africa, following the successful inaugurations of Washington, Berlin, Mumbai, and Moscow over the past year,” Majali said.
