NAMA, FAAN Relocate Corporate Headquarters To Abuja

Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) and the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) have announced the relocation of their corporate headquarters to Abuja from Lagos.

 

This is in compliance with the recent directive from the Federal Ministry of Aviation that all agencies in the sector should relocate operational headquarters to Nigeria’s capital.

 

General Manager, Public Affairs of NAMA, Mr. Khalid Emele, said the movement is aimed at ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness, while also improving the quality of service delivery between the Ministry and its agencies.

 

He stated that the Managing Director of NAMA, Capt. Fola Akinkuotu, and other critical staff of the agency have since relocated to the new NAMA headquarters located at No. 6 Ogbia Close, Off Arochukwu Street, Garki 2, Abuja, in strict adherence to the directive while arrangements are being made for other strategic staff to follow suit in due course.

 

Also, the General Manager, Corporate Affairs of FAAN, Mrs. Henrietta Yakubu, said FAAN is also relocating to Abuja in response to the government directive.

 

She stated: “The Managing Director, Capt. Rabiu Yadudu, Directors and other critical members of staff of the Authority had since relocated to the new FAAN headquarters in Abuja.’
