TAAG Angola Airlines To Resume Flights To Lusaka

Angolan national carrier, TAAG Angola Airlines is set to resume flights into Lusaka by the end of October 2026 to boost regional connectivity. This plan was confirmed by the Zambia Civil Aviation Authority (ZCAA).

Zambia CAA said: “This follows a courtesy call by TAAG officials on CAA Director General Captain Derrick Luembe at the CAA Headquarters in Lusaka.”

Captain Luembe reaffirmed “Zambia’s commitment to supporting regional air connectivity, trade, tourism, and stronger intra-African travel links.”

TAAG Angola Airlines stated that “Lusaka remains a strategic destination as the airline works to strengthen connectivity within the SADC region.”

Zambia CAA noted that “the return of the route is expected to boost business and passenger travel between Zambia and Angola.”
