Air Sierra Leone has confirmed “the resumption of its London–Freetown and London–Banjul flight operations following the successful completion of key regulatory requirements and the receipt of approval from the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).”
According to Air Sierra Leone, “flight operations will officially resume at the end of October 2026, in line with the IATA Winter Season schedule. The first flight is scheduled to depart at the end of October, marking the airline’s official return to London operations. Ticket bookings are now officially open, and passengers can begin making reservations through Air Sierra Leone’s website, ticket offices, and authorised travel agents.”
Air Sierra Leone stated that “the temporary suspension of services earlier this year followed unforeseen circumstances involving our previous aircraft provider. Throughout this period, our priority remained the safety of our passengers while ensuring that every operational and regulatory requirement was fully met before returning to service.”
