Embraer And Airlink Expands Partnership With Aircraft Security Agreement

Embraer and Airlink have signed “a Component Pool Program agreement to support ten new Embraer E195-E2 jets that Airlink is currently acquiring through a series of leases with Azorra.”

According to Embraer “Airlink already benefits from Embraer’s Pool Program for the support of the remainder of its all-Embraer fleet. With the inclusion of the new E2s, the program will ultimately cover 78 aircraft, helping the carrier reduce fleet downtime and optimizing its operational reliability and availability.”

CEO of Airlink, de Villiers Engelbrecht said: “Expanding the Embraer component inventory agreement to cover our new Embraer E195-E2s will provide us with the security we need as we deploy the aircraft. It will help us achieve the maximum operational, commercial and economic benefits we expect to derive from the new additions to our fleet.”

President and CEO, Embraer Services & Support, Carlos Naufel said: “This Pool Program agreement reflects our commitment to operational excellence and reinforces Embraer’s role in supporting Airlink’s growth strategy in the region.”

According to Embraer, “the Pool Program offers comprehensive component support to airlines worldwide, leveraging the company’s technical expertise and extensive services network. The program delivers significant savings and economies in component repair and inventory holding costs, reduces warehousing needs, and operates within a framework of guaranteed performance levels.”
