AFRAA Welcomes Global Airtech As Partner To Strengthen Aviation Component Supply Chain Across Africa

The African Airlines Association (AFRAA) has admitted “Global Airtech International as a Partner under its Partnership Programme, marking a significant step in strengthening the aviation component supply chain serving African carriers. The partnership reflects AFRAA’s ongoing drive to connect member airlines with world-class suppliers of parts, materials and technical support that keep African fleets flying safely and reliably.”

According to AFRAA, “Global Airtech is an aviation asset specialist that has delivered component support solutions since 1989, spanning new-generation equipment supply, critical material support, exchange and loan programs, repair management, surplus inventory, consignment and base kit solutions, asset trading, and strategic partnerships.”

AFRAA noted that through this partnership, “As African airlines continue to navigate supply chain constraints and the high cost of maintaining serviceable fleets, Global Airtech’s entry into the AFRAA ecosystem offers a timely platform for structured engagement between airlines and a globally networked, quality-certified component supplier.”

AFRAA Secretary General, Mr. Abderahmane Berthé said: “Reliable access to quality components and materials is fundamental to airline safety, efficiency and cost management, and Global Airtech brings decades of proven expertise and a truly global network to our membership.”

In a joint statement, Global Airtech President and COO Adam Chiamulon and Chairman and CEO Rodney Chiamulon said: “Africa has been an important part of Global Airtech’s business since our founding in 1989, and this partnership deepens a commitment we have held for decades.”
