The African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC) and the Civil Aviation Agency of Cabo Verde (AAC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen their institutional cooperation.
AFCAC stated that “the MoU establishes a framework for enhanced collaboration in key areas of civil aviation, including aviation safety, security and facilitation, air transport, air traffic management, environmental protection, and capacity building.”
According to AFCAC, “the partnership will support the exchange of expertise, knowledge, and best practices, as well as the development of joint initiatives aimed at strengthening aviation capabilities and promoting greater cooperation among African aviation stakeholders.”
AFCAC said that “this collaboration represents another step towards advancing its mandate to foster a safe, secure, integrated, efficient, and sustainable African civil aviation sector, while supporting the development of aviation across the continent.”
