AviAssist And AFRAA Sign MoU On Aviation Safety in Africa

The African Airlines Association (AFRAA) and the AviAssist Foundation have signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance aviation safety across Africa. AviAssist Director Tom Kok said: “AviAssist is always looking for fresh channels of distribution for its safety promotion services to benefit the African aviation industry”, noting that, “Working with a partner with such a comprehensive list of member airlines and activities throughout Africa provides a unique opportunity to us to do just that. It will assist AviAssist in getting AFRAA members even better access to our world of aviation safety promotion.”

The MoU outlines a comprehensive framework for cooperation, focusing on promoting aviation safety, data collection and sharing, professional development, and skills building for future aviators.

AFRAA and AviAssist will “hold regular meetings to review the implementation of this Memorandum of Understanding and to explore areas for future collaboration” said AFRAA.
