The Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) has called on the Federal Government and the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace to grant the approval for the commencement of Drone training program in the College.
Mrs. Stella Nwankwo, Assistant Planning Officer of the College made the call during a visit to its exhibition stand at the 4th Drone Technology Conference by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Emmanuel Meribole.
According to the College’s representative, “all necessary things have been put in place for the seamless takeoff of the drone training.” She also added that the college already has trained instructors for the training.
Dr. Meribole who represented the Honourable Minister, Barrister Festus Keyamo, in response to the plea urged NCAT to take all the necessary steps in order to move forward with the Drone Training Program.
