Ethiopian Aviation University, the largest aviation center of excellence in Africa has graduated “more than 460 aviation professionals, including international trainees from 10 African countries.” According to ET, “the university held a vibrant graduation ceremony at its facility, celebrating the remarkable achievements of its trainees. During the ceremony, the university honored the accomplishments of 132 pilots, 128 commercial trainees, 123 cabin crew, and 84 aircraft maintenance technicians.”
These graduates “completed rigorous training programs in the university’s Pilot Training, Commercial & Ground Services, Cabin Crew & Catering, and Aviation Maintenance Training Schools, respectively.”
Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO Mr. Mesfin Tasew said: “Today’s graduation is a testament to Ethiopian Airlines Group’s commitment to play a part beyond transportation in the aviation industry. As a Pan-African airline and the continent’s aviation giant, it is also a pleasure to extend our aviation training to other African nations and take a step further in realizing a well-connected Africa, where well-trained professionals support the industry.”
