Aircraft leasing specialist, TrueNoord has celebrated “its 10th anniversary this month, marking a decade defined by value-oriented and risk-controlled growth, trusted partnerships and a steadfast commitment to regional aviation worldwide.”
According to TrueNoord, since its launch in 2016, it has “evolved into an industry leader in regional aviation and exceeded every major objective established at its inception. What began as an ambitious vision has evolved into a global platform with a fleet of more than 100 aircraft serving airlines worldwide.”
CEO of TrueNoord, Anne-Bart Tieleman said: “Ten years ago, we set out with a clear purpose and a belief that there was an important role for a dedicated regional aircraft lessor in the global aviation market. We’re not only celebrating the scale we have achieved, but the relationships we have built. Every aircraft in our fleet, every transaction completed and every milestone reached has been made possible by the trust of our customers and the support of our financial partners through changing market cycles.”
Mr. Tieleman added: “Our greatest asset has always been, and continues to be, our people. We have assembled an exceptional team of talented professionals who share a passion for aviation and an unwavering commitment to our customers. Their hard work, integrity and determination have enabled us to achieve results that exceeded even our own expectations cultivating a diverse and loyal global airline customer base while earning a reputation for reliability, creativity and execution.”
TrueNoord stated that while reflecting on the achievements of the past decade, it is “firmly focused on the future. It recently welcomed a new lead investor, Arcus Infrastructure Partners, who will help spearhead the next chapter alongside Freshstream, providing additional financial strength and momentum to pursue opportunities across the regional aviation sector.”
TrueNoord disclosed that to ensure continued success in this next phase, it “recently marked a significant milestone in its evolution by signing its first-ever direct OEM order for twenty factory-new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft. This landmark investment represents one of the most important developments in the Company’s history, strengthening its portfolio and enhancing its ability to support airlines with modern, fuel-efficient and passenger-friendly fleet solutions. The first delivery is scheduled for the second half of 2027, and these next-generation aircraft represent a significant milestone in the evolution of the fleet, emphasising TrueNoord’s confidence in the long-term prospects of regional aviation.”
Mr. Tieleman explained: “Regional aviation is far more than a segment of the industry. It is an enabler of economic growth, social connectivity and essential services. We see enormous potential in aviation markets globally for regional aircraft to help unlock opportunities, stimulate investment and connect people and businesses to the wider world.”
