The Board of Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) led by the Chairperson, Mr. Irvin Phenyane has appointed Mr. Siphamandla Mthethwa CA(SA) as the Chief Executive Officer of ACSA, effective 01 November 2026.
ACSA stated that Mr. Mthethwa has an “extensive experience in corporate finance, treasury management, strategic planning, risk management and executive leadership,” noting that he “returns to ACSA at an important moment in the organisation’s journey.”
On behalf of the ACSA Board, Chairperson Mr. Irvin Phenyane extends “his sincere congratulations to Mr. Mthethwa and wishes him every success as he takes on this important leadership role.”

Mr. Siphamandla Mthethwa previously served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at ACSA for 3 years.
