Morocco’s national carrier, Royal Air Maroc Cargo has been named “Airline of the Year – Africa at the 2026 World Air Cargo Awards, a distinction that underscores the company’s ongoing momentum and confirms its position among the leading air cargo players on the continent.”

According to Royal Air Maroc Cargo, “beyond the trophy itself, this recognition sends an important signal for the African cargo industry. It highlights a development model built on operational performance, connectivity, service reliability and the ability to support trade flows between Africa and global markets.”

Royal Air Maroc Cargo noted that “this distinction showcases the growing strength of Casablanca as a robust African hub, at the crossroads of Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas.
