Republic of Zambia’s national carrier, Zambia Airways has appointed Mr. Aman Wole Gurmu as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) which became effective 1 August, 2026.
Zambia Airways says that “with over 19 years of international aviation expertise, spanning airline leadership, commercial strategy, sales, market development, and strategic partnerships, Mr. Wole brings valuable expertise to lead Zambia Airways into its next phase of growth.”
According to Zambia Airways, Mr. Wole’s appointment “reflects the board’s commitment to strong, visionary leadership and its ambition to build a competitive, safe, customer-focused, and market-driven airline connecting Zambia to regional and global opportunities.”
